2.1 Planning your museum visit
I believe that if we want to make a visit to a museum that is focus on the curriculum we have to follow the next steps :
Then they have to right down all the characteristics we have already discussed in the classroom ,then we have to imagine it as the artist had made it ,their original form . We may discuss about the environmental problems that causs damages in the statues .
- First of all we have to find the best place (museum) suitable for our learning targets
- We have to let our students expore to the museum's website in order to be familiar with the exhibits and the structure
- Organise our trip from the school's side . Transportation, parents' allowance, documents to the general education office in order to approve our team's trip .
- We divide our students to teams ,so they will be ready to work in the museum for the organised activities .
- We found the suitable person to guide us to the museum
- We come in touch with this person and let him/her know about the targets of our visit.
2.2 During your museum visit
The time when we are in the museum we have first to revise all the rules we have to keep in our visit to museum and certainly expalin one more time the rules why we had to do this . Secondly students have to find the exhibits ,that we have talked about in the classroom . If our students are teenagers , I think it's better to inverstigate themselves as we go through the exhibits in order to find the exact one .
